The Annual FRORGS Awards 2024

The Royal Grammar School in conjunction with FRORGS (Friends of Rugby of the Royal Grammar School) wishes to announce:

THE ANNUAL FRORGS AWARDS
Wednesday 27th March 2024 - 7pm to 9pm


This is an event at which players are recognised for their efforts over the season as a whole and at which the coaches have the opportunity to present their awards to the outstanding performers in each team. The categories for the awards are:

Coach's Player
Player’s Player
Most Improved Player 

The awards are restricted to Years 7-9 in order to give as much encouragement as possible to the players in the lower years. The teams represented will be U12ABCD, U13ABC and U14ABC.

Each team (ABCD) within each age group will have three awards. There will be no distinction between the teams as the awards are intended to recognise players of all levels of experience.  The awards are metal badges specially designed for this event, which the winners can wear on their blazers.

The event will be held in The Queen’s Hall with current Captain Joe Caesar of the RGS 1st XV, presenting the awards.

Players and parents assemble in The Queen’s Hall at 7pm to enjoy a meal at 7:30pm, followed by the Presentation. 

Dress Code: Casual

Tickets
£15 per person or £50 for a Family of 4
Individuals select the appropriate meal ticket choice, families will be able to advise their meal preferences at the Confirm Order page.

Please note: if you have any dietary requirements (halal, vegan, allergies etc), please ensure you state them within the dietary requirements field.

Ticket sales will close on Friday 15 March.


FRORGS is a voluntary committee of parents whose aim is to raise funds to help support rugby at RGS.  Every penny raised goes directly to rugby.  Without this support the School would be unable to maintain the high quality of rugby it is renowned for.  Please help if you can by becoming a Friend of RGS Rugby for a small annual donation.
