Lunchtime Concert - Kleio Quartet

Wednesday 10 April 2024 - 1pm 
First Prize and Commission Prize winners at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition 2023, the Kleio Quartet are quickly establishing themselves as an internationally-recognised quartet.

1st Prize winner of Anton Rubenstein International Cello Competition and the Concorso Mainardi cello competition at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg in 2022, Felix Rosenboom returned to Riverhouse with pianist Angus Webster. Programme included Beethoven's 7 Variations from Mozart's Magic Flute, Pohádka by Janáček and Sonata for cello and Piano by Rachmaninoff.

Teatime Concert: Annie Jacobs- Perkins (cello) Lili Bogdanov (piano)

Winner of the 2023 Paul Fournier Award , Annie has concerts at the Wigmore Hall, Oxford May Music and Bridgewater Hall this month. She is coming to Riverhouse to help us launch a new series of Sunday Teatime Concerts.

Lunchtime Concert - Andrew West (piano)

Andrew West is a renowned song accompanist, chamber musician and soloist performing worldwide. He is currently the Music Director and Chairman of the Kirckman Concert Society. West studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where he is now a Fellow.

DUO play Flamenco Fusion

Friday 14 June 2024 - 8pm
A feel-good evening with two amazingly talented acoustic guitarists who blend flamenco, pop, rock and classical guitar styles into a unique and exciting sound over a varied set-list. Their flying fingerwork and percussive style of play showcases the versatility of the classical guitar.

Harmony's Music Club presents- Paddington Bear's First Concert

Don’t miss this wonderfully witty and entertaining performance of Paddington Bear’s First Concert now in its 3rd year.  Explore innovative sound effects in a pre-concert workshop and then put your skills straight into action when cued during this original hit family concert.   Produced and directed by Harmony's Music Club with popular children's narrator Alex Campbell.
 

Lunchtime Concert - Consone Quartet with Francesca Gilbert (viola) and Alexander Rolton (cello)

The Consone Quartet are fast making a name for themselves with their honest and expressive interpretations of repertoire, notably from the classical and romantic eras. In this concert they are delightfully joined by violist Francesca Gilbert and cellist Alexander Rolton to present a string sextet. This is the last lunchtime concert for this summer before a new classical music season opens in October.

Derek Paravicini and Friends - Charity Concert

Renowned pianist, Derek Paravicini, alongside Professor of Music, Adam Ockelford and guest performers thirteen-year-old blind pianist, Chapman Shum, and Amber Trust ‘Golden Fundraiser’ and Violinist Poppy McGhee present a concert of music in aid of the Amber Trust.
