Mock Tudor Comedy - Friday 24 March

Friday 24 March 2023 - 8pm
Our monthly Mock Tudor Comedy club night with the inimitable PHIL NICHOL headlining plus full support from JENNY COLLIER and JACK BARRY as your MC.

PHIL NICHOL - an award winning Canadian actor, writer, musician and stand-up comedian.  A high energy excitable performer, it is always eventful when he is on the bill! Surreal and mischievous - his keen eye for the absurd and shocking has made him one of the most sought after headline comedians on the circuit.  At home on the West End stage or in a small comedy club, he has to be seen to be believed.

“There is no point in trying to describe the experience, every Nichol gig is unique of course, it has to be lived, you just have to be there, to absorb the atmosphere he creates and of course laugh until the stomach muscles ache for they surely will.” One4Review ★★★★★

JENNY COLLIER - The proudly Welsh Jenny Collier is a multi-award winning stand up comedian, writer and actor. An established regular on the international club and festival circuit. Tour support for Jason Manford, the sharp tongued, multi-lingual Jenny has mastered the art of deftly welcoming her audiences into a false sense of security with her lilting Welsh twang, before taking a dramatic U-turn with her outrageously raw punchlines. She leaves audiences squirming in their seats, head in hands and always wanting more. An unapologetically bold, brilliant and seriously talented rising star.

JACK BARRY - plays Jack in Mae Martin’s Feel Good, on Netflix.  He's also appeared on The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), the Russell Howard Hour (Sky One), Starstruck (BBC/HBO Max), This Is Going To Hurt (BBC), Catastrophe (Channel 4), Cuckoo (BBC), Dad's Army: the Lost Episodes (UK Gold) or crisp packets (McCoys). He's also written for Mock the Week and supported talented comedians like James Acaster, Joe Lycett and Russell Howard on tour.
