Mock Tudor Comedy - Friday 6 October

Our monthly Mock Tudor Comedy club night with TERRY ALDERTON as your amazing headliner plus JOE FOSTER and PETER RETHINASAMY - with more acts to be announced!

TERRY ALDERTON - is without doubt, to our minds, a comedy genius!  NOT TO BE MISSED!!

Terry has always been something special. With a set full of extraordinary caricatures – where he famously is interrupted, and with his back turned, battles with his TWO inner voices - and some stunningly acute impressions, observations and a hyperactive delivery, stand-up performer Alderton is loved by comics and fans alike.
TV Credits: Live at the Apollo (BBC), Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC), Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live (Ch4), BBC’s Saturday night Lottery show (BBC), Ian Wright's Friday Night's All Wright’ (ITV), ‘Stupid Punts’ (BBC2), The Stand UP Show (BBC1) The World Stands Up(paramount) World Comedy Tour Australia(paramount),  The Comedy Store (Channel 5),  Jack Dee’s Sunday Service, Bring me the head of light entertainment (CH5). The Harry Hill Show (CH4). The Jonathan Ross Show. Edinburgh or Bust (CH4) The Royal Variety Performance (ITV)

He’s a very funny man with a fantastic comedy mind, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help” Eddie Izzard

PETER RETHINASAMY - makes a return visit following his fabulous set last time around.  Born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother, Peter is a comedian with hard hitting, punchy jokes and hilarious tales of growing up in Northern Ireland.  He is also resident MC at the Fulham Comedy Club and has cemented himself as a must-see act on the circuit.  Combining his love of comedy writing and acting (he was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain), Peter has been creating funny sketches for Instagram and TikTok. He was on Comedy Central Live in March and has supported Seann Walsh and Kerry Godliman on tour around the UK.

JOE FOSTER - is a stand-up comedian from Brighton with a sharp, dry wit and likeable persona which has established him as a firm favourite with audiences around the country.  In 2015 Joe won the Fosters South Coast Comedian Of The Year Competition which cemented his reputation as one of the fresh new voices on UK comedy circuit and he has since established himself on the comedy circuit with a bright future ahead. Winner of Foster’s South Coast Comedian of the Year 2015
