Rafael's canvases depict a decorative, rich, metaphorical world. His work is subject to the most daring combinations of colour definistions, which sometimes cause unexpected poetic associations. Often, the artist focuses on the primary colours, with occassional use of shades derived from these main colours. Sometimes a clear temperamental world gives way to delicate, transparent, light shades with their thin quiet definitions. In his other works, the world of obscure, mysterious, vague feelings unfod before the eyes of the onloooker.
