Dramatize presents Appearance

Dramatize is an organisation working with artists with learning disabilities. Karen Davies photographed the pictures, but it was a joint effort of all the staff team creating the design of the shoot. Our organisation is trying to change perceptions of artists with learning disabilities through different art forms, showing artists with learning disabilities in a light other than sweet and innocent. The artists we work with are like any other young adult. We aim through our personal portraits, slowly to change society’s perceptions of artists with learning disabilities. This is Dramatize’s first visual arts project. It is hoped that you enjoy the exhibition and the event.
