Alter Ego - Drama for Adults

Through drama games and acting exercises our fun workshop-style sessions will give you the freedom to explore the process of making drama without the pressure of being in a production. Come along for a creative workout!

The Antidote

Brainchild of bassist and composer Matt Ridley, 'The Antidote' is a new and exciting quintet, bristling with young talent. Their eponymous album was recorded in October 2019 where 12 tracks were cut over 3 days. Released on 23rd July 2021, 'The Antidote' combines and develops Matt's expansive cross-generational experience into a deeply accomplished album, his third as composer/bandleader.

Russian Christmas with Daria Kulesh - Walton Folk

This term we are doing a button project.  We are looking in particular at a Vietnamese artist called Phan Thu Trang. She paints landscapes of rural life using pointalisum. We will be using various techniques along with buttons, beads and stitching.  A brief and have examples for everyone to look at at the beginning of the term.

The cycle closes with Beethoven's final sonata offering, the transcendental C Minor op.111. But before that there's the high-jinx of the early sonata op.22, the warm-heart of the E Flat op.31 no.3 and the wonderful 'Les Adieux,' one of his most clearly programmatic works.
