RCMF WinterFest 2025 I

RCMF WinterFest 2025 - Concert 1
Friday 17th January 2025, 7.30pm
United Reformed Church Romsey

Beethoven's Piano Trio in C minor, Op. 1 No. 3 showcases the young composer's daring spirit. Written early in his career, it already bears the hallmarks of his mature style, with its intense contrasts and fiery energy foreshadowing the revolutionary path Beethoven would soon embark on. This concert also includes Mel Bonis' gem for piano trio Soir et Matin and Rainer Crosett performs Penderecki's compelling Divertimento. We are delighted to welcome back local young violinist Rose Gosney for Dvořák's charming bagatelles alongside our festival artists

Bonis Soir et Matin
Penderecki Divertimento for solo cello
Dvořák Bagatelles for two violins, cello and piano, Op. 47
Beethoven Piano Trio in C minor, Op. 1 No. 3
