12 - 14 September Petts Wood Operatic Society are proud to present ‘The Addams Family’ the musical, based upon The Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams in his single panel gag cartoons depicting a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre.
Come and join us in the upside-down world of the Addams family where to be sad is to be happy and to feel pain is to feel joy. The Adams’s have lived by their unique values for hundreds of years, Gomez and Morticia (the patriarch and matriarch of the clan) would only be too happy to continue that way. But change is on the way Wednesday their beloved daughter now a young woman is ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet boy from a normal respectable Ohio family but to make matters worse she has invited the Beinekes for dinner.
In one fateful, hilarious night, their secrets are disclosed, relationships tested and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they have managed to avoid: Change!
