Today by Robert Holman
Today is a beautiful and occasionally shocking portrait of Northern England in the 1930s, taking in the depression and the Spanish Civil War. Victor Ellison is a musician, composer, teacher, husband and lover. The play is both an epic and intimate dramatisation of his life, encompassing sexual infidelity, deceit, reluctant heroism and moments of creative majesty.
