Welcome to Bournemouth’s Summer Cuban All stars Salsa Festival - the South Coast’s premier Cuban Salsa Dance event. 

This exciting 3-day event takes place from the 2nd to 4th August 2019 in 3 TOP/AMAZING Iconic venues in Bournemouth, one of the UK’s top tourist and seaside destinations. 

Featuring over 40 hours of daytime dance workshops with some of the very best Cuban Salsa teachers in the UK and Europe, 3 spectacular late night Salsa Parties with shows & Social dance, plus 7 miles of glorious sandy beaches, this is the nearest you will get to Cuba in the UK!

Music is to salsa as roots are to a tree. Salsa has many roots, but the style that gave rise to and shaped it more than any other is the son. The son is the most important and influential music to have evolved in 20th Century Cuba. 
Armando Sanchez, leader of Conjunto Son de la Loma, states that the son "is a people's music-a true expression of the Cuban people's history and life."
This music, more than any other expresses and identifies the ethos of the Cuban people.
