We will be running our Cuban bar selling Havana Club rum, mojitos, Cuban beers (Bucanero Fuerte) plus others drinks.
Branksome Dene Community, The venue is situated on Poole’s beautiful coastline overlooking Branksome Dene Chine Beach, a small yet stunning area popular with photographers.
The venue offers spectacular panoramic sea views and has a large patio area that can be used to barbecue or simply for sitting, dancing or enjoying the glorious views!
Our Summer Baeach Party Guest teacher will be the Amazing professional Cuban dancer Lazaro Lopez.
Lazaro Lopez Profile
Lazaro Lopez is one of the most brilliant and distinguished dancers of Afro-Cuban in the world, the original “RUMBERO”.
In 1989 he graduated from the renowned Escuela Nacional de Arte de la Habana (ENA) where his dance training covered every aspect of Cuban dance and Latin styles, including Contemporary, Classic, Folklore, Popular and Salsa, specializing in Afro-Cuban.
Lazaro went straight on to work as a principal dancer with prominent Afro-Cuban folkloric dance companies such as Raices Profundas, Pinos Nuevos, and the Compañia Folklorica Cubana J.J. With these dance companies he performed in the most eminent theatres of Cuba, like the Garcia Lorca, Carlos Marx, Teatro America and went on tour in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Lazaro also regularly taught dance and percussions summer courses in the National School of Art and Dance (ENA). In December 2000, he moved to London to perform as the lead dancer in the famous West-End show Lady Salsa.
Lazaro who are also won the 2004 Tropicana Tropics World Rueda Champions have established himself as a leading exponents of Cuban music and dance and hecurrently teach and perform in events all over London, the UK and Europe.
