An Introduction to the Tracks and Signs of Shetland’s Animals

This one-day course, led by tracking expert David Wege, will look at the commonly-found tracks and signs left by Shetland’s animals.

Starting indoors we will talk about tracking and look at some basics of animal feet, the tracks they leave, animal movement and other signs that animals leave on the landscape. We will then have plenty of time exploring outside to put your new found knowledge into practice and deepen your knowledge.

Transport will be provided from Lerwick. Please ensure you bring a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing.
