Tell It To The Bees

Tell It to the Bees is a British drama film directed by Annabel Jankel and starring Anna Paquin and Holliday Grainger. The screenplay by Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Fiona Shaw.
In 1952 Dr. Jean Markham returns to her Scottish hometown to take over her late father's medical practice. With her failing marriage and young son, Lydia (Grainger) starts to connect with the town’s new doctor Jean (Paquin), who bonds with Lydia's son after he takes an interest in her bee colonies. However, in 1950s rural Scotland, the women's relationship raises questions after the mother and son start to live with her after they get evicted.Runtime 1hr 48mins.
Doors open 6.30pm for those wishing to bring food (No drinks please as we have a licensed bar) for those simply wishing to watch the film then show starts at 7.30pm. When purchasing online take care to select the correct ticket, Film Picnic Night for table allocation and Film Only for row seating.
