Join us for an evening of the best of festive music. We journey with Clara from The Nutcracker through the Land of Sweets and Delights brought to life by dancers from local Susan Handy Dance School. Listen for the way the composer brilliantly makes toys and sweets sound like glittering water droplets and spun sugar. You’ll hear the ringing of sleighbells and the whinnying of horses on two very different sleigh rides; one a romantic drive through a sunny snowy day, the other a rollercoaster ride on a traditional Russian troika. The programme includes a selection of carol arrangements and both popular and traditional favourites, including a chance to sing along with the chorus and orchestra.
A special price family ticket is available for this concert. Admits 3 to 5 people: minimum one child, maximum two adults.
