Join renowned Shetland-based artist Peter Davis for a day’s watercolour workshop. This full-day workshop, which is aimed at adults, is an opportunity to explore the medium of watercolour, building on basic methods through to using different techniques.
Basic materials are included in the cost but you are invited to bring along any sketchbooks, photos, and other sources of inspiration and materials you would like to use, such as brushes, paper etc.

There are 12 students per class.
No experience is needed.
About the artist: Peter has worked with watercolour all his life. He hails originally from north-east England and, after taking an art and design course, he taught for some years in Cumbria before moving to Orkney in 1981, where he set up his own gallery. Ten years later, he moved to Shetland. Now retired from teaching, he continues to paint and exhibit. His latest exhibition ‘Clear Sight’ is currently on display in Da Gadderie at Shetland Museum and Archives.
