The Robbie Gladwell Experience

Robbie Gladwell and his band visit The Spa!

Robbie is the real deal, the guitarist’s guitarist and thanks to his hugely varied musical career his incredible band plays an eclectic mix of some the best soul, rock and pop music from the last 50 years – come up and see them funking it up!

Far from a tribute or covers band, Robbie has amongst many other things been lead guitarist with Steve Harley & The Cockney Rebel for many years. This show will therefore be tinged with sadness due to Steve Harley’s recent and untimely passing. The evening will include a section of tribute to Steve.

The line-up includes
Robbie Gladwell – Guitars & Vocals
Julie Gladwell – Percussion & Vocals
Paul Airey – Keyboards & Vocals
Marianne Hillier-Brook – Drums
Willam Gladwell – Bass
Brian Butler - Trombone
Tina Hathaway - Saxophones

Special guests include Marty Wilde’s guitarist Neville Marten, country picking guitar legend Steve Laney and Adam Houghton, drummer with Steve Harley & The Cockney Rebel. A donation of £5 from each ticket sold will be made to Cancer Research UK in memory of Steve.

Saturday 30th March 2024 - 7.30pm

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LIVE MUSIC SHOWS
Please be aware that we are a theatre, not a nightclub, and our audiences are predominantly seated. However, many live acts will encourage the audience to participate with singing, dancing and standing. We have to balance this with those that cannot or prefer not to stand and all seats from Row K forwards are only for those wishing to remain in their seats. You will need to move to an aisle behind row K to stand or dance if you book a seat forward of this row. All seating to the rear of this row permits standing/dancing (in both seated areas and the aisles), in most circumstances, for live music shows.

Please be aware: if you book seats in the area behind Row K and do not stand, your view may be obscured by those who wish to do so. These areas are clearly marked when you book your tickets.

However, standing at your seat at any show is not a right. We ask audience members to be kind and considerate to those around them at all times, and to follow the instructions of our ushers and security staff. Anyone who refuses to do as we ask, or is rude or obviously intoxicated, will be asked to leave the theatre. No alcohol, drinks or food may be brought into our building; bags may be searched and such items removed and disposed of.

We hope you understand that these rules are to protect your enjoyment of our show, and that of the whole audience, and that you thoroughly enjoy your visit to The Spa.
