Rock Roll & Soul for Children in Need

The Spa is doing its bit for Children in Need by hosting not one but four great local bands for a huge fundraising festival of live music.

Local boys JS & The Lockerbillies, fresh from rave reviews following their summer Glastonbury appearance are bringing their unique blend of rockabilly, country and rock. The line up also includes Ashton Jones & Innerheart, who have recently been supporting tours for Shalamar and Beverley Knight, for some world class soul & funk and Hot Tramp are adding their amazing brand of high energy Blues and Rock. The bands and The Spa team are all donating their efforts and are working expenses only to help us to raise as much as possible.

But, it says four bands and we only mentioned three? Exactly! We thought it would be fun to hold a competition to find an up and coming band, who must be unsigned and play some very upbeat tracks, to open the show with a 25 minute set. That competition was won by Kid Mojo and we're thrilled to have them join us on the night to complete the line up.

With such a distinguished line up of hugely talented local musicians donating their time we should be on target to raise a bumper sum for Pudsey's Appeal. We would love it if you would come along and support our attempt at raising as much as we can, perhaps £5,000 or more if we can sell all tickets.
