Fundraising Reception, Lecture Recital and Dinner

Guest of Honour: Maggie Cole

The American harpsichordist Maggie Cole will join us for a reception and dinner with a Nepalese theme. She will talk about the life of Violet Gordon-Woodhouse, a pioneer in the revival of the harpsichord who was the first person ever to make a commercial recording on the instrument in 1920.

There will be choice of main course offered to those attending. There is no charge for tickets but donations will be invited at the conclusion of the evening. Tickets are limited to 40 places. Confirmation will be invited two weeks before the event, so that returns can be allocated to those on the waiting list. Last year's evening was fully booked, so early application is strongly recommended. We look forward to welcoming you to another memorable fund-raising evening; it will ensure the success of SSEMK for the year to come.

If you have tried to book, but the evening is already fully subscribed, please email ssemk@gmx.com to go on the reserve waiting list. We will update you twice a week until the date itself.
