WINTER FESTIVAL III – ADVENT CONCERT

A final feast of music for Advent rounds off our 2024 Winter Series. From the foot-tapping dances of Terpsichore, through the undeniably infectious French style of Charpentier, seasonal violin music of both Bach and Vivaldi, soprano Katherine Manley performs Alessandro Scarlatti’s poignant Cantata Pastorale, some traditional English carols and Bach arias written specifically for Advent. What better way to start your seasonal celebrations but with an SSEMK concert to warm the cockles of the heart.
