Sound the Trumpet!
Artists-in-Residence, The Bach Players, make a welcome return this year with their 20th Anniversary All-Bach Celebration programme featuring two triumphant cantatas sung by the wonderful soprano Rachel Elliott. The joyous Wedding Cantata spars with the famous Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen which features solo trumpet, also appearing in the second Brandenburg Concerto. These masterworks are complimented by a selection of Fugues from Bach's last known work, Die Kunst der Fuge. Be uplifted before the end of British Summer Time!
