Let It Be Me was first performed in 2001. It is a tender and moving account of a niece struggling to cope with her Aunt's dementia. Amy cares for her Aunt Sylvia who has Alzheimer's. Sylvia does not recognise the adult Amy but instead waits for the child she remembers to come back from school. When Amy meets and falls in love with Gregory, Amy's devotion to her Aunt is seriously tested.
The Charity Night is on Monday 14th November for The Yeovil & District NHS Retirement Fellowship. This is a social, leisure, educational and welfare organisation for retired NHS staff and Care sector workers and their partners aiming to keep in contact with each other in retirement. It is part of a national organisation which was started in 1978.
