The Charity Night is on Monday 16th July in aid of the Apollo Swimming Club which was originally founded  in 1969 to help people who needed exercise after orthopedic operations or after periods of immobilization in splints.  Our membership has now widened to include all different kinds of physical disability. We swim at Goldenstones on Saturday mornings and Sherborne Boys School on Tuesday evenings. We also sail on Sutton Bingham during the summer months. As well as swimming and sailing the club holds regular social events that include parties, skittle evenings, outings and fundraising events. The club owns its own minibus and transports members with a genuine need to club sessions.
