Vestry Productions is proud to make its debut at The Arches with the hilarious musical comedy “Nunsense” by Dan Goggin. This cast first performed the show 11 years ago and have reformed for this occasion.
Nunsense is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating soup prepared by their cook, Sister Julia. Thus, the remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, streetwise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show to raise money to bury their dearly departed. But, despite their best endeavours, the evening gradually spirals out of control with all manner of musical mayhem.
With catchy songs and irreverent comedy, Nunsense is sure to keep audiences rolling with laughter.

Running Time: 2 hours (plus 20 minute interval)


GATES OPEN ONE HOUR BEFORE THE SHOW. 
This performance takes place on the hardstanding by the arches.
