'Diva'  takes a humorous and honest look at the trials and tribulations of being a women today.
With singing...and thrashing.

'Diva', is the first piece in a series from the Different Women Project- celebrating Diversity and Difference in Performance.

Ariane Barnes is an actor, comedian and singer-songwriter.

She has worked internationally as an actor and vocal chameleon and was invited to work with artists at the Tate Modern in London and the BAK in the Netherlands.

Her work is political and humorous and aims to inspire women to be who they are, fully, and completely- from a position of personal power.

Ariane is the founder of the Different Women Project (DWP), celebrating diversity and difference in the performing arts through performance projects and lectures.

An active voice for change in the industry, she has developed and led seminars on dealing with diversity in the performance industry in conjunction with the Different Women Project, encouraging people to openly discuss issues surrounding race, gender and sexuality and raising awareness on the lack of diversity present in the entertainment industry in order to help create CHANGE.
