Godalming Music Festival - Contemporary Section

The Godalming Music Festival is a music competition attracting musicians from Godalming and surrounding areas. Founded in 1947, this successful festival has grown over the years and now attracts thousands of entries in Music, Speech, Drama and Dance. The various classes perform to specialist adjudicators at venues in and around Godalming and the competition culminates in a rousing Festival Concert. 

This popular festival continues to grow  with the Contemporary Music Section. This section for contemporary music is competitive, like the rest of the festival, and will employ the services of a highly qualified adjudicator from the British & International Federation of Festivals. The classes includes guitar, percussion, keyboard, singing, singing/composing and bands including a band class for over 25 years which can include younger family members.

All performers are equipped with professional standard equipment provided by The Music Works; digital mixing desk, 2000w PA, Backline guitar and bass amps, stage piano and keyboards - just bring your voice and/or instrument!
