Playing the Red River - a family walk and workshop

We’ll take a walk across the Red River Valley exploring the way our voices and creative thinking can sharpen our experience of a landscape rich in industrial heritage and biodiversity. We’ll read some poems, do some writing, dip our hands in the water, and test the musical qualities of the river and the ruins that made it run red. Led by the poet John Wedgwood Clarke, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter.
