Tell Us a Story - Book Day Event

This is a free event for families with younger children. It is the culmination of a storytelling project in Redruth schools, but is open to all children, and most suitable for those aged 4-8.
Book here for the workshops. Other drop in activities include performances from The Story Republic and arts and crafts activities.

Join author and illustrator team Naomi and James Jones to meet the shape characters from The Perfect Fit and One More Try, listen to both the stories, ask questions about making books and learn how to draw your own shape tower. You can also hear about their eco adventure story, The Odd Fish. Listen to the story, learn what inspired it, find out how you can reduce the amount of plastic in our oceans and take part in a draw-a-long too!

This booking secures you a place in the workshops with Naomi and James Jones but you can also drop into any of the other activities listed below.

The workshops are held at 10.15-11.15am and 11.45am-12.45am. Click the orange button below to choose the workshop time you would like to attend. Please book tickets for all adults and children who will be attending the workshop. See the programme below for the additional, drop in activites that do not require booking.
