This workshop will focus on bringing joy to your writing practice and exploring ways in which you can write for pleasure and find awe in the everyday.Using prompts from across genres from fiction to poems, from lists to legends, this in depth workshop will get participants to welcome in the light to their writing and find the space to experiment and play with different form and techniques. All welcome!

Lucy Beckley is a published writer and poet based in Cornwall. She has an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University and a PG Certificate in Teaching Creative Writing from Cambridge University. In 2021, she was shortlisted in the Renard Press New Beginnings Poetry Competition 2021 and in the Dementia Together Magazine’s poetry competition in 2023. She runs workshops for adults, children and organisations and loves to help inspire others to find the joy in creative writing.
