Tickets: Free

Join writer Ceda Parkinson and her publisher Guillemot Press for the celebration of Ceda's new book Threadworks. Threadworks is Ceda's debut work of non-fiction, exploring the role of spiders and their webs in the human imagination and our complicated and ancient relationships with them.

Threadworks by Ceda Parkinson is a lyrical meditation on the relationship and relatedness of spiders and humans, intertwining ecology and poetics and asking the question, what lessons from the spider can we take into our own fragile, interrelated world?

Ceda Parkinson is a writer based in Cornwall. Her work has appeared in the Dark Mountain Project, and she recently served as writer-in-residence at the Jan Michalski Foundation and The Writer’s Block. Threadworks is Ceda’s debut title.

Threadworks features web illustrations by Martha Harris.
