Recycled Rags: Make Your Own Set of Funky Coasters (Workshop)

In this workshop we will try our hands at a range of embellishment techniques including simple embroidery and applique before turning our creations into coasters. This workshop will be suitable for all abilities as the only limitations are our imaginations. Help and advice available for those who want it.

User Not Found

It’s the moment of your death.There’s a magic button. Do you delete your entire online legacy? Or do you keep it – and leave the choice for someone else? Dante or Die has joined forces with writer Chris Goode to examine what happens to our digital identities after we die in User Not Found. In a special highlight of our new season Ventnor Exchange is thrilled to be bringing this unique experience to the Isle of Wight.

Mistero Buffo

One of our favourite shows to ever be performed at the Ventnor Exchange returns following a sell out Edinburgh Fringe run and London transfer, culminating in winning the prestigious Stage Edinburgh Award Nobel prize-winner Dario Fo spent thirty years perfecting Mistero Buffo, reworking well-known Biblical stories to skewer the rich and powerful. One of the most controversial and popular spectacles in postwar European theatre, its broadcast caused the Vatican to denounce it as “the most blasphemous show in the history of television”. Now – after a smash-hit, sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe – Rhum and Clay bring their award-winning production to Ventnor Exchange for 2 nights only.

Ventnor Fringe: Will Pound & Eddy Jay

Sparky and exhuberant, technically amazing and skillfully astounding Will and Eddy’s performances are special occassions full of musical vim, vigour and a very special vitality. Will has three times been nominated for BBC Folk Musician of the Year and is widely acclaimed as one of the very best harmonica players in the world whilst Eddy’s accordion playing is regularly described as “virtuosic”, “mesmerising” and “breathtakingly beautiful”.
