Creative Writing Course

From 15 February-18 April 2024, Mel Bradley, will be facilitating a series of 10 creative writing workshops in the Gateway Studio at The Waterside Theatre. These will take place weekly from 7-8:30pm at a total cost of £10 for 10 weeks.

Mel Bradley is a spoken word artist, writer, playwright/ theatre-maker, multimedia artist and actor. A gatherer of the untold stories of women. An outspoken queer feminist performer with a candid voice and an unhealthy obsession in the Virgin Mary. A self-confessed creative genius with the attention span of a gnat who began her spoken word career as a slam poet and now boast three spoken words shows, and a play. In 2023, she took her latest show, ‘For The Love of Mary’, on tour and was featured as part of both Bounce Arts Festival and Liverpool Irish Festival.
