Cabaresque - Destination Showgirl

Dancers 4 Events presents its newest intimate Cabaresque show "Destination Showgirl". A fusion between Cabaret and Burlesque, Cabaresque has been a winning show formula for the Wollongong based company over the last year, captivating audiences looking for a savvy meeting of classic and original Showgirl.

The Company boasts some fabulous talent, including dancers straight from the Moulin Rouge Paris, Theatres of Worldwide Luxury Cruise Liners, and Grandeur Shows from London to Rome. Recently running at the Vanguard Theatre  with their Elvis Cabaresque Show (co-produced with Nick the King Elvis), and numerous Paris Cabaresque bookings in and around Sydney, the girls are excited to finally bring a taste of their works to their home town.

Cabaresque "Destination Showgirl" is the perfect show for Wollongong audiences and slides beautifully into the elegance that is Anita's theatre. Greeted by stunning Showgirls and captivating characters, you will be brought into the show from the moment you enter the venue. Set in the bar area of this jaw dropping theatre, this show will bring you up close and personal as the dancers transition effortlessly from scene to scene, costume to costume… taking you on a journey from one side of the globe to another in a cheeky exploration of Showgirls abroad.

There is a special guest appearance by Miss Emma Rodgers who dazzles the stage with her sultry and sassy big songs, accompanied by the Company dancers. Her vocal talents have seen her sing professionally for many years and she has become a fierce feature of the Company's many shows.

Lisa Maree de Marco, Australia's rising Pole Artist star and professional Showgirl, performs spectacular pole acts that leave you not only questioning the force of gravity, but in admiration of her beauty and skill…. simply wanting more.  

The show would not be complete without Nick the King Elvis - Australia's best Elvis entertainer. A good friend of the Cabaresque girls, Elvis will make you forget where you are, taking you to a time when every Saturday night was Elvis night. He smooths the stage in black leather reminiscent of the 68' Comeback Special, leaving the building only after a white jewelled jumpsuit Vegas finale. Not just your typical impersonator - Nick the King oozes genuine charisma, and bantering whit, leaving the ladies (and our girls) all shook up.
