Lunchtime Concert- Felix Rosenboom (cello), Angus Webster (piano)

Felix Rosenboom is a cellist currently based in Salzburg, Austria where he studies at the Mozarteum University, under the tutelage of Clemens Hagen.

Prior to this he studied at Junior Guildhall School of Music in London, under Selma Gokcen and Marina Logie. At a young age Felix played in the National Children's Orchestra for 4 years, before being awarded the position of co-principal cellist in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. In March 2022 Felix was named the 1st Prize winner of the prestigious Anton Rubenstein International Cello Competition in Düsseldorf, Germany, and in May 2022 he was awarded 1st prize at the Concorso Mainardi cello competition at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg.

Angus Webster studied piano with Alasdair Beatson in Birmingham and currently studies with Claudio Martínez Mehner in Basel. He has played in masterclasses with Ferenc Rados, Rita Wagner, and Dénes Várjon at IMS Prussia Cove. Praised for his inspiring musicianship, Angus Webster enjoys a growing career as a
conductor and pianist. In recent seasons, Angus has conducted the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Ulster Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Bruckner Orchestra Linz, and Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.

Lunch price is separated from the concert ticket.  You may book your lunch for 12:00 noon at the Barn or enjoy it after the concert at the Community Café.  Due to limited seating and high demand for our lunchtime concerts, pre-booking of lunch is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
