The UK’s first National Festival of Specialist Learning will bring together young people, parents and professionals to debate, challenge, learn and to look for solutions facing young people with disabilities in specialist learning.
FestABLE is driven by young people with disabilities and learning difficulties and their families, engaging professionals from all sectors who work with them. Anyone who is working towards enabling young people with disabilities to achieve better outcomes is welcome.
It is hosted by National Star, a national centre of excellence, which is marking 50 years of enabling young people with disabilities and learning difficulties to achieve their potential as they make that transition into adulthood.
FestABLE will provide speakers, workshops, forums and a range of activities from key note speakers to workshops on assistive technology and therapies. There will also be much to enjoy as FestABLE celebrates young people. In the Festival Village there will be fun activities, music and food.
All activities will take place at National Star’s fully accessible campus near Cheltenham.
