SERENA RYDER AUSTRALIAN STOMPA TOUR With Special Guest Matt Andersen

Acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter SERENA RYDER returns to Australian shores this March, to launch her award-winning album ‘HARMONY’ on Friday 13 March.

Touring nationally through three States with special guest and fellow native Matt Andersen, Serena will take the stage twice at Byron Bay Bluesfest and wrap the tour up at Adelaide’s The Gov. Lead single ‘STOMPA’ has exceeded triple platinum sales in Canada and 250,000+ in the States, with the album ‘Harmony’ also reaching platinum accreditation in Canada.
“Stompa, Serena Ryder – with fuzzed-out guitar and post-Adele bluesy thump, this insistent single is shaping up to be Ryder’s biggest ever.” – USA Today.
The talented artist has achieved multiple Juno Award-wins within her native Canada, taking out the 2014 gongs for Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year along with hosting the event! She also claimed the 2014 Canadian Screen Award for Achievement in Music for her original song ‘The Right Kind of Wrong’, and has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the Queen Latifah Show. Serena’s songs have appeared on Hawaii 5-0, American Idol, We’re The Millers’ and Real Housewives of Miami among many others.

One of the most exciting new artists to come out of Canada in recent years, Serena Ryder is not to be missed on her Australian tour this March & April! And with special guest and blues aficionado Matt Andersen joining Serena for her headline dates, this Canadian doubleheader is bound to leave audiences begging for more…
