Midsummer Boogie Nights return with a special 9th edition!

Alexander O’Neal and his band, plus special guest Simon Chiverton.

American singer-songwriter Alexander O'Neal has had a music and television career spanning more than 30 years.

Citing Otis Redding as one of his major influences, O’Neal came to prominence in the middle of the 80s as a solo artist. During the 80s and 90s he released 14 singles that entered the UK Top 40, including 'If You Were Here Tonight', 'Fake', 'Criticize', and 'Love Makes No Sense'.

Alexander O’Neal’s worldwide success was celebrated with a greatest hits collection in 1992, creating his second platinum album in the UK.

Special guest, Simon Chiverton has opened shows all over the country for the likes of Alexander O'Neal, Jimmy Cliff, Martha Reeves and The Commodores. See Simon showcase his latest single 'Wanna Be Your Man' which was written and produced by the legendary Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar.
