Join Mr Stevens, the School Archivist, on a guided tour of the oldest buildings on our campus and learn how the site developed over the centuries from Saxon Abbey to Viking encampment, and from Medieval Priory to the School which stands today.
Over the course of two hours you will hear entertaining tales of archaeological digs, eccentric masters, and the extraordinary events which shaped our beautiful school. The tour finishes with a rare opportunity to see a display of some of the most treasured items from our archives, and to explore the fascinating and often amusing insights that they give into life here through the ages.
Please note that there are steps, stairs and uneven ground. This tour may not be suitable for people with access/mobility requirements.
