Sing - A Festival of Elmbridge Choirs 2024

R C Sherriff always had a passion for music. In 1955 he appeared on Desert Island Discs choosing pieces by Shostakovich, Verdi, Wagner as well as the Eton Boating Song (his luxury item was a bottle of Scotch whisky!) In the same year, he scripted one of the great British war movies that boasts one of the most iconic theme tunes in cinema – The Dambusters. Following on from the success of last years festival, run as part of The Trust’s 30thAnniversary celebrations, The R C Sherriff Trust is thrilled to present a second celebration of Elmbridge Choirs.
