Henry VIII- An interactive Show and Drama Workshop by Aesop's Touring Theatre Company

Trace the passage of King Henry the Eighth during his reign and meet his six wives and several other interesting and amusing characters. Enjoy a spot of grave digging! Or perhaps partake in an execution!
Discover the Tudor period and the people of the time with authentically designed costumes and props. Music of the era abounds and the King adds a verse or two.

Follow it up with a participative and fun-filled Drama Workshop in which the audience, with the assistance of the actors, create and perform their own short scenes from what they have seen and learnt.

You are invited to dress up in Tudor costume and, perhaps, bring a suitable prop for the occasion.
Two actors portray a slice of popular history serving up lashings of laughter.


Aesop's Touring Theatre Company aims to educate young audiences through the powers of entertainment and imagination whilst, at the same time, encouraging children to question and think for themselves.


The play is 75 minutes without an interval and the 75 minutes workshop will follow after a 5 minutes break.
