Mock Tudor Comedy - Friday 13 December

Our monthly Mock Tudor Comedy club night with, reasonably fresh-ish from his show in Las Vegas in the US (and Guildford!), the hilarious Danny Buckler as headliner plus the online sensation and terrific stand-up, Jack Skipper on the stage and David Ward as MC, with more acts to be announced!

DANNY BUCKLER - in 2023, award winning comedian and magician Danny Buckler made his debut in Las Vegas and he’s desperate to go back but, for now, to get his ‘Sin City’ fix, Danny’s bringing elements of the Vegas show to Walton!  Like a modern Tony Hancock providing a delightful combo of sublime stand-up combined with slick, and not so slick, magical trickery, expect a rip roaring session of belly laughs and astonishment that only Danny can deliver. 
Danny has provided tour support for Victoria Wood on her final two tours as well as opening for Jon Richardson, appeared on BBC 1 as one of the stars of the prime time Saturday night specials The Secrets of Magic 1 and 2 and has most recently been seen on Dave as a part of the cast of Meet the Richardsons. He’s also been a writer for 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Danny is employed by Disney to perform shows around the world.  Catch him now before his true showbiz destiny comes to fruition and he returns to America for good!    

JACK SKIPPER, hailing from South London, Jack has recently gone from being a carpet fitter with no qualifications to blowing up, becoming an internet sensation and full-time comedian.
Whether telling stories of life as a family man or observations on working-class life, his everyday guy persona has gained an impressive following on social media, with over 14 million likes on TikTok alone and 270,000 followers on Instagram.
Jack was a runner up in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? New Comedian of the Year competition in 2022, and this year reached the final of the Komedia New Act comedian. He recently starred in the Stand Up Sketch Show on ITV2.

DAVID WARD - presenter, writer and comedian David Ward, is fast making his name on the comedy circuit. David is a friendly, upbeat comic. Fluid, quick thinking and lively, David’s spontaneity has made him the choice host for the BBC’s New Comedy Awards heats, as well as the rounds for C5’s So You Think You’re Funny?
