Mock Tudor Comedy - Friday 13 December

Our Xmas Mock Tudor Comedy club night with the online and stand-up sensation, Jack Skipper on the stage along with Michael Shafar and David Ward as MC, and the brilliant Thenjiwe just added!

JACK SKIPPER - hailing not too far away in South London, Jack has recently gone from being a carpet fitter with no qualifications to exploding onto the comedy scene, becoming an internet sensation and full-time comedian.
Whether telling stories of life as a family man or observations on working-class life, his everyday guy persona has gained an impressive following on social media, with over 16 million likes on TikTok alone and hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram.  As seen on The Stand Up Sketch Show and as tour support for Michael McIntyre and Russell Kane.

MICHAEL SHAFAR - originally from Melbourne, Michael is now based in London where he has quickly become one of the most exciting new acts on the UK comedy circuit. He regularly performs at the country's biggest clubs where he gets to talk about British people, their questionable history and terrible food!  If you lived in Australia, you might already know him from his appearances on Network 10's The Project and Studio 10, ABC's Comedy Bites and triple j's Good Az Friday. Of course, traditional media is dead, so it's more likely that you're one of his 100,000+ followers on social media or the 100+ million people who have seen his videos online. You may have also watched his debut special A(LIVE) on Amazon Prime or his most recent special Alright, Next Joke on YouTube.  In 2025 he'll be touring around Australia​, the UK and mainland Europe.

DAVID WARD - presenter, writer and comedian David Ward, is fast making his name on the comedy circuit. David is a friendly, upbeat comic. Fluid, quick thinking and lively, David’s spontaneity has made him the choice host for the BBC’s New Comedy Awards heats, as well as the rounds for C5’s So You Think You’re Funny?

THENJIWE - is one of the most highly recognised and popular South African stand up comedians on the road today.  With six comedy specials and two popular South African sitcoms that she wrote, produced and starred in, Judge Thenjiwe Khambule and Meet the Khambules; she is the Queen of African Comedy.  She has three YouTube channels with over 180,000 subscribers and over 40 million views.  Thenjiwe's debut to the London scene has seen her win the King Gong Comedy at the Comedy Store and The Black Out at Up The Creek.  She recently did her one hour show at the Leicester Square Theatre in London to a standing ovation. Thenjiwe has established herself as a prominent figure in the comedy scene. She has graced the stages of major comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store and Top Secret Comedy Club, delivering performances that leave audiences in stitches. Her charismatic stage presence and clever punchlines have earned her a loyal following.  She has acted and starred in many television shows including Imbewu, The Road and Harvest; and appears in the films 10 Days in Sun City, Accidental Spy, Uncovered (all available on Netflix) and various Mzansi Magic Movies.  She has a combined social media following of over a million and a half and in 2022 was awarded an honorary Doctorate degree for her community services.

No outside food or drinks to be consumed on the premises.
Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the auditorium during the show.
