Wassail! - Carol of Comfort and Joy- a lunchtime concert by Riverhouse Barn Choir

The word 'wassail' comes from the Old English phrase waes hael, meaning 'be well' or 'be in good health,' and it was traditionally used as a toast to wish good fortune and blessings during the Yuletide season and till today is still a beloved part of Christmas traditions, symbolising community, warmth, and joy.

In this concert, the Riverhouse Barn Choir will bring the spirit of Wassail to life through a beautiful selection of carols and holiday music, each piece chosen to evoke comfort and joy.
