Dave Page has been managing Elmbridge Borough Council’s commons and countryside sites since 1991. He will describe the important habitats that remain, such as heathland, grasslands, and wetlands explaining their past use and how they are managed now. Discover more about Esher Commons, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Learn about the conservation of its rare or endangered species such as the Starfruit, Silver-studded Blue butterfly and Dartford Warbler.
