Honor Brogan and Bridget Boulting

Honor Brogan and Bridget Boulting are established artists who have been working together and separately for forty years. For twenty years they worked in a life drawing studio in Wimbledon. They have exhibited together in varying venues and their work is included in numerous private collections. Interest in the moving figure led to a commission to draw from the rehearsals at Glyndebourne opera on two occasions. The work was then exhibited and sold in the opera house gallery.
Both artists work on paper and the mixed media chosen are charcoal, pastel, ink and oil stick. Their inspiration is taken from direct contact with the landscape and the human figure, often based on a very quick and immediate response to the subject.
This exhibition will include some work undertaken at Riverhouse Concerts and along the river at Walton. Meet the Artists thursday 12 March and Friday 13 March.
