Theatre AD presents Primrose Way

A one act play by Ron Nicol
An amateur production by arrangement with Samuel French Ltd
A Solo Performance by Anne Nunn
In aid of Shelter and other charities supporting the homeless

Primrose Way tells the story of Old Primrose, from her hopes as an aspiring young actress to an old lady living on the streets with just her memories to sustain her. Poignant and funny in equal measure, it is also tragic and harrowing by turns. It’s been a hard life but Primrose has survived.
Anne is an award-winning actress with over 50 years experience in amateur and professional theatre. She performed the role of Old Primrose for Runnymede Drama Group at the spring 2016 drama festivals, winning the Best Actress award for her performance. She is presenting this solo performance with her own company, Theatre A.D. Riverhouse regulars will no doubt recognise her as she has appeared at Riverhouse many times with Runnymede Drama Group, notably as Mrs Schwab in Habeas Corpus, Meg in The Birthday Party and Mam in Enjoy.
