I Wanna Be Yours

I Wanna Be Yours written by Zia Ahmed
Monday 21 October at Studio 3 Arts

A Paines Plough and Tamasha production.

Love is more than just a game for two. Especially when there’s an elephant in the room.

Ella is from Yorkshire. Haseeb is from London. They order a pizza. House red for Ella. Hot chocolate for Haseeb.
“I think I’m falling in love with you.”
People and playlists. Christmas and Eid. Travelcards and Megabuses. London to Leeds.
Love is more than just a game for two. Especially when there’s an elephant in the room.
A tender, funny, lyrical play about finding love and holding onto it with everything you’ve got. I WANNA BE YOURS is the debut play from Zia Ahmed.

The performance was filmed, and we would love you to join the cast, creatives and VIP guests at the premiere screening, taking place on Wednesday 13 November at Broadway Barking Theatre at 7:30pm.

The Hare and the Tortoise

After the success of last year’s Elves and The Shoemaker, this year’s family theatre show retells the classic Aesop Fable of the Hare and the Tortoise.  It’s the day of the big race between Hare and Tortoise.  Hare is fast but silly; Tortoise is slow but serious.  Who will win? Family theatre at it’s very best.
