Privacy Policy

The Man In The Moon and The Little Box Office do not store debit or credit card details. We do not share any bookings or account details with any third parties. We respect the rights of our customers and agree with the principles outlined in the Data Protection Act. In the interest of honesty and transparency, we sincerely hope our privacy notice is clear, concise and informative.

What information do we gather?

The only mandatory information we ask for is the bare minimum needed to complete the ticket sale, requiring that you provide us only with your full name, postcode and e-mail address. Payment is handled separately and securely through Stripe, so those details are never gathered by us and we never have access to them.

How do we process this information, and for what purpose?

At present, we require these personal details for several reasons. We need your full name and e-mail address so we can send your tickets electronically, re-issue your tickets if needed, and possibly offer refunds if necessary. We also require this information for our record keeping. We may also use these details to send you information about our other related services or products.

Who will we share this information with?

We do not share the information we collect with any third party apart from The Little Box Office, which hosts the site and holds this information for us. They are also subject to the Data Protection Act in the same way we are.

How do we protect your information?

We follow the Information Commissioner's Office's recommendations for our data security. Stripe uses their security measures to keep your personal banking details safe, including safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption. Please see their privacy policy for more information.

What rights do you have to access, change or remove your information?

Among others, you have the right to a copy of the information we've collected from you. Additionally, you are entitled to have inaccurate personal data rectified or destroyed. We welcome any amendments you suggest, as we should keep any data we collect as accurate as possible.
