Oh, you thought he meant instruments? No. Instead, Thorne has an ensemble of wool, fishing wire, and the objects he attaches them too. This is a world where paper aeroplanes fly, but not because they’ve been thrown. Where tea is made, but not with a kettle. Where there’s a helium balloon and a huge metal wheel and – well, you’ll see. This show doesn’t leave much to the imagination, because he’s done the imagining part for you. Uplifting, quirky and fun, Thorne shows circus reimagined. And here’s the good news: you’re invited.
