Ventnor Fringe: James Longford: changes | journeys

Steinway Artist and Island resident James Longford performs a thought-provoking programme of music for piano inspired by aspects of daily life in current times.

"The rhythms of daily life were disrupted for everyone last year and, as a musician, my life is still hugely affected. As we slowly return to some sort of normality I wanted to share a programme exploring aspects of daily life over the last year or so – repetition, self-reflection, (small) journeys, grief, inactivity, box sets, new discoveries, gratitude – through music old and new, challenging and familiar, from the Renaissance to Minimalism."

“exquisitely detailed playing” - Birmingham Post
