Ventnor Fringe: Katherine Priddy

Island promoters and Fringe regulars Vaguely Sunny present their 25th Anniversary Concert with Birmingham based singer/songwriter Katherine Priddy, supported by the Isle of Wight's Beth Brookfield.
The last eight months have been a whirlwind for Katherine who - having recently emerged onto the scene with her long awited EP 'Wolf' - has been turning heads and steadily gaining attention.

At oly 25, it seems hard to imagine that Katherine's haunting vocals and distinctive finger-picking guitar style have already been captivating audiencesariund the UK for the past eight years. Nick Drake and John Martyn are among her influences and there is also a dash of Vashti Bunyan in there as well.

Katherine's lyrics are especially noteworthy - a tribute to her life long love affair with literature and poetry - so we are sure that she will be well received at the Fringe.
